At the risk of pointing out the obvious, an incandescent bulb doesn't care which end is positive. An LED on the other hand..................
Terry Schwartz <tschw10117@aol.com>: Apr 12 08:19AM -0700

That can easily be addressed by using two LEDs in parallel, in opposite polarity.

One of the important features of those testers is that they provide a load to the circuit under test, something the LED won't be able to provide.

That too can be addressed with an appropriate resistor across the entire circuit.

You can't even respond to the facts like an adult, Snit.

Notice how you revert instantly to your fifth grade vocabulary when
confronted with facts.

You seem incapable of understanding that I'm not Snit.

Nor does it matter. The troll remains replete on the discussion.

Don't feed the troll.

I've heard of Jeff - never heard of you. From what I've read so far, you will never know a tenth of what Jeff does (and I suspect I'm being generous). Further, he's not "snit"..
Terry Schwartz <tschw10117@aol.com>: Apr 12 09:46AM -0700

I posit that the accuser is in fact, himself Snit, in one of his other many demented personas. Therefor, the discussion is moot -- Snit can go back to playing with himself, as he is clearly prone to do, Kleenex or not. You only feed his ego by responding and/or denying his claims. If that stops, so will Snit, as he will find no further satisfaction, except at his own hand. Perhaps the video game joystick in his mama's basement will serve as a adequate substitute now that his actual member has failed him from too much abuse.

Ahhhh usenet. If only there was an IQ requirement.

Petroleum jelly melts & runs.

The web page says they are pink; probably why Peter likes them!

> You probably won't find a website that tells this method, but I know of what I speak. Just like you won't find on the web WHY to use 100 % ethylene glycol for your engine coolant, but I can make me case and it is hard to argue against. Anyone wants to dispute it make your case and then my case will bury you. Guaranteed.

I remember when we had this argument at work after a certain automotive
TV program claimed the same.
We finally settled for 60% mix being better because the higher SHC over
100% ethylene glycol was preferred in a heat transfer system.
Knowing how marginal some automotive cooling systems are, I'd plump for
the 60% mix personally, even if there are other benefits to using 100%.

This was a few years back though, maybe newer coolants behave differently?
