The "Government" is necessary. It gives us the basic rules of society:

Stopping at Stop Signs - and the Stop Signs in the first place.
That, for the most part, the drugs, foods, and chemicals we purchase on a daily basis will not kill us immediately.
That when we need to call an ambulance, fire truck and so forth, the phones are likely to work, and there will likely be a response.
That we all agree to drive on the same side of the road.

And tens of thousands of other examples that paranoid survivalists (rugged individuals) seem to miss in their narcissistic fantasies.

That we need to look out for ourselves is also a given. But that we must be "everybody for themselves" is simply stupid - almost irredeemably stupid, as under that scenario, there are no commonalities. Under that scenario, there would be no reason for anyone to stop at a Stop Sign, and no consequences arising therefrom.

It is called the "social contract".

We must all hang together, or we will surely hang separately.

Win 7 PC shows status of toner.
Yellow has triggered a warning message since it and only it has gone
below 10% remaining. Yellow shows 9%. Others are much higher
percentage available.

All cartridges are Samsung brand.

However, I cannot get the printer to print anything.
It keeps flashing the toner low message and not allowing me to print.

I did take out and shake the yellow toner and restarted several times
but no luck clearing the problem to allow me to print.

Suggestion please.

Thanks !

Methinks you can disable the toner low warning "feature" with the well
hidden "tech menu":
"Samsung Xpress C460W hidden menus & reset those warnings"

Or, maybe try this:

Obviously, buy new toner.
Ever wonder where the yellow ink and toner goes?
Every page you print uses yellow to print all the
information it has about who and where you are.
And no, it won't print if it can't rat you out.

Well, lets see if that works as you claim. Every page is marked with
up to a maximum of 512 dots. Most MIC codes are less than half of the
512 dots, but I'll use the maximum number for this exercise. Each dot
is 0.1mm in diameter or 0.05mm radius. Therefore, the maximum
coverage in yellow toner is:
Pi * r^2 * number_of_dots = Total_area
3.14 * 0.05^2 * 512 = 4 sq-mm
If all the 512 dots were arranged in a non-overlapping staggered grid
pattern, that would produce a 2mm x 2mm yellow square. That's a
really tiny area which would hardly affect yellow toner consumption.

Dear john
Regarding the 12v dc that i used is comming from the main huge power supply and its current output is more than what the new amp board need and i did try it for long time on the original 110w×2 8ohm speakers with no over heat on the new board same aswell with old amp althought the new board is very compact and not power monger it can run on 12v- 24v in general as iam not an electronic engineer just a hobbies it was a challenge for me to bring life again to this vintage machine .
Actualy this machine is made from 2 sets one for the amp and casset and radio and another set for the 50+1 cd player conneted to the main set by a ribbone cable and power cord and back again to the bad design both sets has a voltage selector 110-240v last time ayears ago the kids try to use it they change the voltage selector to 240v on main set and didnt notice that the cd set need to be changed at same the result was the cd power suply blown because there is no fuse there it was another challange to be fixed coase there is no info about that output voltage and there is no schematic diagrams for that set to know the output voltage of that power supply after hard time of searching for a replacement i couldn't find any then i decided to desolder the transformer from the board to try winding it i find there at the input section unusable pin not connected to any traces on the board i check out if its connected to other pins and there was there i felt tgere is a hope i connected it serial with 70watt 110v lamp to avoid further damage and the result is the deck works again on 110v then i disconnect the volt selector leaving it direct and i add a small stepdown volt transformer from 240to 110v (i used small 30watt traveller converter which fit inside the deck housing ) it was a real challange but thanx GOD i did it and i liked to share this experience with other people who face this prob with PIONEER products and they like to keep them functioning after many years.

Is it the "Dynacap" model or is it more recent than that?
