Fuses are OK. Open 'em up and look for more fuses. There are modular parts in many appliances, and the main fuse might be slower or less sensitive than the fuse in one of the modules. I've seen three fuses in series, and 'fusible resistors', reset-button circuit breakers... safety consideration can get excessive. |
