If the back-lights stay on and the TV runs for 10 minutes or so, unplug the TV and reconnect the ribbons to the display and try again. If the TCON shorts with the ribbons reconnected, then you have a bad display taking out the TCON. I would suspect Windex Syndrome (cleaning solution sprayed on the screen in such a volume that it drips below the front mask and attacks the bonded address boards).

I installed the new tcon board along with the fuse on the main board,I took measurements, no shorts. with the ribbons disconnected, I powered up the tv, back-lights stayed on a little longer, but went out... I took measurements again still no shorts..

What type of interconnect (If any) is used to connect the clock?
Is that self contained or run from the cpu? Sounds like a connection
problem for the clock mebbe?

Yup, open carry is a great deterrent, but with so many states going the
way of NY and CA, it's not surprising there's so many gun deaths in
America today.

Horseshit.
The only thing open carry is good for is telling
others "Shoot me first" or "Free gun, come and take it."
Of course, the default setting is "Hey everyone look and
see how big my dick is."

Why do you say that? Because it feels good or do you have facts?

Here's some facts: Colorado has open carry without a permit and
shall-issue CCW. 7.6% of the population has CCW, unknown how many open
carry - could be anything, but 34% do own guns. The Aurora theater had
400 people in it, on average there would have been 30 with CCW. No one
returned fire when a gunman killed 12, injured 58 more, firing 76 shots.

Deterrent?

I challenge you to back up your statement up with facts. I won't
hold my breath waiting for you to find any that back up your
statement.

Actually, the best invitation of all for any nut-job out there to come
and shoot everybody up are these crazy "gun-free zones" you find in
basket-case states like Illinois and Maryland - talk about begging for
trouble.

Very easy for there to be a mismatch, such as old people carry guns
while young people go to see batman films ...

The latter.
In regions with new streets or buildings you can see streets on the
streetview and bare land in the sat view.

Streets are shown in new developments even when they not yet have been
laid, but have been submitted as planned.

They go pretty fast when the Faroe Islanders are trying to fuck them.

Here they get it from the operation that is doing the new streets.

> Does it infer the streets from computer analysing the sat view?

That wouldn't give them the street names.

> Or do municiplities send it updates when they construct new streets?

Not send google so much as update their database and google accesses those.
We have seen it take a while before the google map is updated with new ones.
This is one example.

Tucker and Gillmartin are now well past Haines with new houses being

With ours they are on the council maps, what you call municipalitys.

Ours work fine for bicycles but google doesn't use them for bikes.

The fuse is to protect the output stage from damage caused by DC voltage coming into the output (most commonly when someone plugs into a mixer with Phantom power [+48V] engaged). It happen\s more than you think. I'm staring at (2) DJM-S9's that took full voltage and blew the fuses.
